Prompto is a program unlike all the rest, it is built on the premise of growth. It is a system that allows people to seamlessly work together. Therefore there are a few things you should know before you jump in.
The cloud
Since one of the key aspects of Prompto is the sharability and ability to work together we make sure that everything is stored in the cloud.
All materials and objects in the library are saved in the cloud so that when you open a scene elsewhere, there are never any files missing.
When opening a scene you also know that it will always be the lasts version that you see. Because it will download the latest version.
Local scenes
A scene can be saved locally and not on the cloud. This can only be done in the studio, where scenes are created. When a file is local, it means your 3D file has not been uploaded yet. You need to do this first and then your scene will be available for your whole company.
Users
You can switch computer as much as you want. Log out of one computer and log in to another is easy. The only limitation is that you can only be logged into 1 place at the same time. So don't forget to log-out if you want to log-in somewhere else.
